Presentations.
Each country taking part in the conference had to make three presentations. The presentations had to be the answer to questions set about their country, by the other groups taking part. This picture shows the English group showing some of the problems of the world today, to be solved by a cinema hero. |
Football!
A football match between England and Germany, with guest Ukranian and Belarussian players took place on a frozen piece of ground near the IBB centre!

Painting.
The group spent an enjoyable morning brightening up the walls of a school for children with sight problems.

Straw dolls.
At the end of the morning, the school presented each country with a straw doll to say thank you. |
Weird warm ups!
During the conference, a theater production was developed. Before each practice, we had to do some rather strange warm up exercisies!

New friends.
Through the conference, everyone became really good friends. This picture was taken after a performance in front of 200 Belarussian students in the Palace of Youth theatre. |
Goodbye Ukranians!
As there is only a train to the Ukraine every two days, the Ukranian group had to leave a day early. Most of the conference group went to Minsk station to say goodbye.

Relaxation.
Over the last few days more time was spent sat talking to our new friends. Gavin and Mark met Eva again on a trip to Germany in March 2001. |

Weekend with families.
During the conference, everyone had the oppertunity to spend some time with a Belarussian family. Most people spent the weekend exploring Minsk.
